Under industrial conditions the case will degrade within 6 months, however in backyard environments it might take longer. This while traditional fossil-based plastics can take hundreds of thousands of years to breakdown in harmful microplastics. The time that the case needs to degrade varies greatly and mainly depends on the quality of the environment it is placed in.
What do I do with my Terra case when I want to dispose it?
When you want to dispose your Terra case, you can throw it out in your backyard compost or compost bin. We recommend to double check if your city / country allows compostable bioplastics to be thrown out in the compost bin.

We recommend you throw out the Terra case in your backyard compost or compost bin as this will allow the Terra case to break down the way it is intended to.
